Hello, friends, and Happy March! So it's been a bit since I've posted, which is unfortunate because I was on an INCREDIBLE roll in January! Not only with catching up on blog posts, but with crossing off my January goals, too! I am happy to say that I had completed all but a few of my goals before February arrived, which felt amazing to clear that space on my to do list.
And then February arrived. I really had this vision in my head of February being the prime time to relax a bit, catch up more on my organizing, and get an early start on prepping for my taxes. But I have never been more wrong in my life. February was an insane month, with so many meetings I literally lost count, many hours spent editing photos, and of course, photographing a few winter sessions. On top of it all, I was sick for a good week or so, and of course, February is overall an unfair month given the shortage of calendar days. BUT, I am so happy to say that all the hard work and time spent in February really paid off, and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way.
March is shaping up to be a great month as well... a little less busy, but still busier than I was anticipating back at the start of 2013. But, as the saying above goes, "Good things come to those who work their asses off." So while I know we're already halfway in to this month, I didn't want another month to go by without setting some goals to achieve. So here goes:
Business-Related
• Wrap up Chiara's one-year photos
• BBMK Workshop (3 days!!!)
• TAXES!!
• Finish and order 3 albums (1 wedding, 2 portrait minis)
• Get a good chunk of editing done on Charles and Jamie's beautiful March wedding photos
• Post at least 2 sessions
It's a short list this month. I'm learning to be more realistic about everything on my plate, especially given the month is technically already half over. ;-)
Personal Goals
• Get back to the gym – seriously – 2-3 days a week
• TAXES!!
• Find another book to read. After many, many failed attempts at starting and not finishing books over the last few years, I actually managed to read Tina Fey's Bossypants (so good!) from start to finish on the plane home from San Fran. Doing so has sparked my desire to find another good read that I can start AND finish! With that said... I'm taking suggestions if anyone has any! ;-)
** Update:Currently reading (and almost finished with) Tuesday's With Moorie by Mitch Albom. SO GOOD! Up next: Love Does by Bob Goff. **

How are your goals going? I'd love to hear!
