I am a Buffalo-based photographer specializing in weddings, birth stories and documentary-style Real Life family sessions. I've been photographing people, moments and the world around me ever since I was old enough to operate a film camera. To date, I have photographed 100+ weddings, 15+ birth stories, countless portrait sessions (engagement, family, maternity, etc), and even several big commercial projects. Every step of the way I've grown even more in love with photography and am continually focused on providing my clients with the very best service and images for their specific photography needs.
On Creating Images
I am passionate about creating and providing genuine documentary-style images to my clients, focusing on people, human interactions, real moments and details that help to tell a unique story. When creating portraits, I'll provide lightly-guided poses for you with a more organic approach, resulting in images that are simple, clean, natural, and timeless. At the same time, I am fueled by experimentation. When the time is right, I love to try new techniques to give you images that are unique and unexpected.
I strongly believe in photographing you interacting with your loved ones or being a part of your wedding day, versus spending half of the afternoon on a photoshoot with your bridal party. Though we will need some time for the family portraits and bridal party portraits, too, it just won't be such a long period of time that everyone is exhausted at the end of it.
It's so important to be prepared for our time together (whether it's a session or wedding day), but also have room for spontaneity should things not go as planned. Either way, trust that I've got you covered to tell your unique story the way it unfolds!
For the wedding days... I can't imagine missing a single moment of your celebration. Especially at the very end when everyone is letting loose and having a good time celebrating your love. So if photos of your reception are important to you, I'm your gal. I'm the rare find of a photographer that actually loves – and hates to leave! – your celebration!
