This year I have decided to offer ONE day dedicated to creating beautiful posed family portraits in WNY! These family mini sessions are great for those looking for just a few vibrant and joyful portraits of them with their loved ones looking at the camera, with a few candid moments captured in between.

In addition to offering the mini sessions, I am excited to announce that I will be offering two packages to choose from for the deliverables received. Both packages will include 10 edited high resolution files. But the first package will also include a beautiful 8x10 print of your choosing, so your images aren't just living in digital land and you'll have an actual updated image ready to hang on your walls or gift to a family member. The second package will include something I'm very excited about: HOLIDAY CARDS!

I'm teaming up with the incredibly talented owner/creator/designer extraordinaire of Parkside Prints, Kelly, to offer a package that includes a base of 25 holiday cards (additional card quantities can be added for an additional $2.09/card). There will be 4 custom card designs to choose from, and from there the creation and printing of your holiday cards will be taken care of so you can spend the rest of the fall season spending time doing things you love! The cards will include envelopes needed for mailing, and will even have free return address printing on them so all you need to do is address the cards to those you're mailing to, stamp, and send! Seriously, how amazing is that?!

So let's get right down to the details:

The When, Where, and Hows?

WHEN: Sunday, October 22, 2017

Sessions will begin every half hour starting at 2:00PM, with the last session starting at 5:30PM. Sessions will be 20 minutes in duration. You must be on time for these sessions, as your time slot is reserved for a specific time frame and cannot be adjusted or extended if you are late. In the event of inclement weather, it may be necessary to reschedule some or all of the sessions. The rain date for these sessions will be Sunday, October 29th, so please be sure to block both dates if you book a mini session with me.

WHERE: A WNY park with fall backdrop

Sessions will take place at one location, which will be confirmed the week prior based on how the leaves are looking. As of right now, I am planning for sessions to either be at Hoyt Lake/Delaware Park, Chestnut Ridge Park, or Emery Park.

How Long of a session, how many images, and how MUCH?

Package One – $175+tax

20 minutes of photography time
10 high resolution images
(1) 8x10 print of your choosing

Package Two – $240+tax

20 minutes of photography time
10 high resolution images
Holiday card design (choose 1 of 4 designs)
(25) Holiday cards with envelopes, including free return address printing
(additional cards can be added for $2.09/card)

How long after the session will images and product be ready?

Your final, high resolution images will be delivered 2 weeks following the session date via a private online gallery, and can be downloaded directly from the gallery.

The included 8x10 prints or holiday cards (depending on your package selection), will be ready for an in-person pickup from my office no later than December 4th, pending your approval time for image selection and holiday card design.

How to book your session before the spots are all filled!

A $50 non-refundable retainer is required to hold your time slot on my calendar. Please fill in the form below and once I have received your email, I will confirm if the time slot you have selected is still available, and send you my mailing address for submitting the retainer amount. The retainer is non-refundable in the event you should need to cancel your session or if you are a no show for your session time.

The final balance for your session is due no later than October 20, 2017. No payments will be accepted the day of the mini sessions.

Are you able to reschedule your session for the rain date if weather permits us from doing photos on October 22nd?

When I met up with Lauren and Adam for their originally scheduled date to do engagement photos, it started raining as we were all en route to our meeting spot. We opted to do a few photos in the rain with the umbrellas anyhow, and then rescheduled the remainder of their session for another date. Day 2 ended up being the sunniest and most beautiful of days – just as we had originally been hoping for, in locations that were truly special.

When having discussions with couples about where to do photos – whether it's for an engagement/anniversary/family session or wedding portraits – I always try to encourage we do at least a few photos in a place that has special meaning to a couple in their relationship. For Lauren and Adam, this spot with meaning was the bridge in Delaware Park where Adam proposed. It was so great to be back there with them, creating images that will be a reminder of such a special day in their lives.

Today I'm sharing a glimpse into their session with a few of my favorites. I feel lucky to have seen these two a lot recently, and am even more excited to see them in just a few short weeks for their WEDDING day!!
